In September 2025, this new meme emerged related to a viral video on social media, where a bride decides not to marry due to a death threat she received from a leader of an organized crime gang. The bride in question, named Elena, was about to marry Clever Hánuam in a ceremony in Peru but ultimately decided to flee after receiving the threat that if she married, her husband would be killed.
Hánuam mentioned in an interview with the outlet El Popular that the man who threatened her wanted to be Elena's new partner, which led her to escape and attempt to take her own life.
