Police officers from DIDROP took action against a drug law violation in Lima. During a patrol, they spotted a man fleeing and found cannabis plants in a property.

Personnel from the Dangerous Drugs Directorate (DIDROP) Capital intervened this Wednesday in an incident that violated the Narcotics Law. Around 6:00 PM, agents were patrolling different areas of the capital city when they spotted an individual in the passage Pedro Bereta at 1900. This individual, upon noticing the police presence, fled, leading to a distant pursuit until he entered a house, where he was finally apprehended by the police.

In the yard of the residence, the agents identified several cannabis sativa plants, which were immediately seized by the public servants. The prosecutor in charge of the case confirmed the police actions.

In the words of the authorities: "This operation is a result of the constant work we do to combat drug trafficking in the area. We will remain vigilant to ensure the safety of the community and uphold the law."
