In Peru, a man miraculously escaped death under a train after it was halted directly on the tracks, as captured in video recorded at the time of that strange incident. Local authorities told the BBC that the man was remarkably unscathed when he fell onto the tracks. Video recordings revealed the man lying motionless before a slow-moving freight train approached him. Immediately after the incident, the man got up on his feet in Lima. General Javier Avalos stated: 'Apparently, he was drunk and fell onto the tracks and did not notice the approaching train.' Avalos added that the man only sustained minor injuries to his left arm and was taken to the hospital for medical assistance.
