Shakira begins her tour and a Peruvian fan prepares

On February 11, Shakira's 'Women Don’t Cry' tour began, after a seven-year absence. The show has generated great anticipation, especially following the media separation of the singer from Gerard Piqué, known as 'The She Wolf.' Through social media, the artist has encouraged her followers worldwide to practice their best hip movements, promising to select someone from the audience to dance on stage with her.

One of Shakira's Peruvian followers decided to practice in case she chose him for the stage. Under the username @oscarmoncada10, he posted a video from his home where he is seen dancing shirtless and in shorts, focusing on his hip movements. The young man wrote as a description: 'Just in case,' followed by the phrase: 'My mom: It’s just missing that now you tell me you want to get up and dance on stage,' immediately responding: 'Me rehearsing in case Shakira brings me on stage.'

The video went viral, accumulating 2.5 million views and thousands of comments praising his dancing skills. Creativity and humor were present, with messages like: 'No, son, Shakira is the one who should practice to dance with you,' or 'You wanted to make it incredible and ended up making it legendary.' The jokes continued, suggesting that Shakira should let him continue the show in her place.

However, the concert that Shakira had scheduled for next Sunday had to be canceled due to health issues of the singer. If the doctors allow it, the presentation on February 17 is expected to take place.
