The Government of Peru officially confirmed on Saturday the decision to extradite Tony Janzen Valverde Victoriano, known as "Little J", whom Argentine justice considers the main perpetrator of the brutal triple murder in Florencio Varela. According to the Argentine News Agency, the measure was formalized through Supreme Resolution No. 041-2026-JUS, signed by Peruvian President José Enrique Jerí Ore and published on January 30 in Lima. The accused will be transferred to the country to be prosecuted for the murders of Lara Gutiérrez (15), Brenda del Castillo (20), and Morena Verdi (20). Prior to the handover, Peruvian authorities must verify that "Little J" has no pending criminal proceedings or convictions in his country of origin; if any case is open, the extradition will be postponed. Likewise, the Argentine State had to offer guarantees that the time of deprivation of liberty required for the extradition procedure in the Republic of Peru will be credited to the detainee. The resolution also bears the signatures of the Minister of Justice, Walter Eleodoro Martínez Laura, and the Chancellor, Hugo Claudio De Zela Martínez. The case file accuses him of "aggravated homicide for being committed with the prior conspiracy of two or more people, with cruelty, with treachery, and by means of repeated gender violence in three incidents". Conditions for the transfer The legal instrument establishes strict requirements to carry out the transfer.
