After remaining a fugitive for 15 years under a false identity in Peru, he was finally located thanks to intelligence work and biometric verification,' informed the Police this Friday in a press release. The arrest was carried out through the Directorate of Investigation of Human Trafficking and Irregular Migration, with the support of the National Central Bureaus of Interpol Lima, who verified that the fugitive had a false national identity document with another surname. Finally, he was arrested this Friday at 2:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. GMT) in the vicinity of the Alimentos Cielo company, located in the district of Lurín, in the southern part of the Peruvian capital. The Red Notice from Interpol was issued on November 16, 2010, six days after the murder of the teenager, which occurred on November 10. The National Police maintained that the victim met Granadino when she was 14 and he was 28, and according to the young woman's environment, 'the relationship was marked by mistreatment'. 'In October 2010, weeks before the crime, Silvia decided to end it after enduring episodes of physical violence,' stated the press release. 'On the day of her murder, Silvia had eaten at her house after returning from school and was last seen in the company of a friend.'
