Shakira to Perform in Lima After Health Scare

Colombian singer Shakira is confirmed to perform in Lima on Monday after canceling her previous concert due to abdominal pain. Fans show excitement.

Colombian singer Shakira confirmed that she will perform this Monday in the second of her scheduled concerts in Lima, after canceling the one she was supposed to give on Sunday due to abdominal pain that forced her to be hospitalized in a clinic.

The gates of the National Stadium will open at 16:00 local time and the artist will take the stage at 20:15. The post on the singer's official Instagram account was accompanied by an image of the performer and the title of her tour: 'Shakira, Women Don't Cry World Tour. Lima'.

In a previous post, fans attending the concert were asked to tag the singer in the photos, videos, dances, and parties they publish on their social networks. The concert production company confirmed the concert this Monday and is working to reschedule the canceled date from Sunday.

Shakira had communicated that Peruvian doctors told her that she was not 'in condition to perform a concert' that day, but she expressed her expectation of performing her second presentation, scheduled for this Monday, and that she also plans to hold the pending show 'as soon as possible'.

Local media reported that the singer had already left the medical center, although that information was not officially confirmed. Shakira thanked her social media followers for the messages of affection received, saying they 'give her so much strength' and that she loves them with all her heart.

Despite the uncertainty among her Peruvian fans and those from neighboring countries who had arrived in Lima to see the show, they began to gather from Sunday night outside the National Stadium with tickets in hand, waiting for information about the concert.
